(2) I had a relaxing weekend, we went to the Island and enjoyed some fun in the sun! But boy am I in pain now.... It was overcast yesterday so I wasn't putting on sunscreen as often as I should. Now my back is the color of a tomato. I can't ever remember being sunburned in my entire life and now my body is hurtin' and already kinda itchy. Don't even get me started on how the water in my shower felt like needles this morning as it Aloe that's been in the fridge is my new best friend, hopefully this burn will fade into a beautiful tan...
(3) Yesterday we saw a peacock on the side of the road, he was very pretty. We stopped to take his picture and he squawked at us, then flew up on the fence post. We drove a little further and there was a field of peacocks, I didn't get a good picture of them though. Here's the main guy, hanging out on the fence.
(4) Does anyone know why Mondays at work drag out? Especially in the summer, it's like the office is in slow-mo
(5) I have a secret, if I told you it wouldn't be a secret so I'm gonna keep it to myself for a little bit longer.
(5) in honor of my pain sunburn, here's a video...Remember this song?

Hope your sunburn gets better! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI did some yard work the other day. I didn't feel like I was outside all that long and now...I have a red stripe in the middle of my back where my pants and shirt should have met!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, although yours sounds worse.
I would definitely take a bit of sunburn over the pale white-y whiteness that lasts until mid July here in Washington.
ReplyDeleteI say that now...wait until I actually have one! Then I'll be grumbling with the best of 'em. :-)
