Five Question Friday: April 9th

I'm back!!! Fridays are much more relaxed in the office and what better way for me to come back to the blogosphere than for 5QF! If you've never played along, here's your chance. The rules are real simple, Copy and paste the following questions to your blog. Answer them, then head over to Mama M's to link up!

Questions for Friday, April 9th:

1. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?I really think Alexis Bledel would be a good canidate for me... or Kristin Stewart even though she's not the best actress but we look alike -haha
2. Did you ever go to summer camp?
Cheerleading camp, every summer from the time I was 10 until my senior year in high school.
I went to church camp for a week in 8th grade in NC, we came home the day before my birthday.
3. What sends you running and screaming in the other direction?
umm this one is tough, I'm pretty much fearless... wait I know, bungie jumping, it's never gonna happen.
4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?Talk to him when he wakes up from sleeping or just a nap. He's always in a bad mood for some reason and I drive him insane haha.
5. What is currently your favorite song?
Can Anybody Hear Me by Meredith Andrews. It's my ringtone. I listen to the K-Love radio station and they had her play it live in their studio!

Now it's your turn!! Have fun!

I'm gonna start...

COUPONING!
I did a trial run the other day. When it was nice outside I laid out all my coupons (some from other Sunday's) and all the ads for this week. I took a sheet of paper to write down which matched the sales. I know there are websites that do this for us but they don't always have the same sales in my area, our stores are picky I guess haha. Well on my first try I spent $8.07 on about $30 worth of random toiletries at Wal-Mart and at Publix I spent $21.49 on almost $60 of groceries! I think that I was very successful and a lot of fun but my little 3x5 coupon accordion folder thing just isn't practical... I wonder if a binder with those plastic baseball card sleeves would work better... any suggestions? Oh and if you coupon I would love some helpful tips! :)

Fastest Post Ever

Super busy day at the office, been here since 8am and have been non-stop, probably going to be here until 6:30/7... gotta love legislative session, thankfully only 3 more weeks!! But I am really sorry for missing Top 3 Thursday but be sure to check out Elizabeth's blog for the link up and everyone's answers...
Be back soon, promise! :)

Wishful Wednesday

It's time again for Wishful Wednesday over at The Seattle Smith's

This week's topic is:

I wish' .... I had the willpower to
stay on one particular diet,
and it would be the Mediterranean Diet!

This is more of a lifestyle change than a diet and it has everything I love to eat! Here's the 10 Principles.

According to The Mediterranean Diet Foundation: "The Mediterranean Diet is characterized by abundant plant-origin foods such as bread, pasta, rice, vegetables, legumes, fruits and nuts; the use of olive oil as the main source of additional fat, moderate consumption of fish, seafood, poultry, dairy products (yogurt, cheese) and eggs, as well as small amounts of red meat and a daily moderate intake of wine generally at meals. Its importance to the health of individuals is not limited to the fact that it is a balanced diet with a varied and adequate supply of macronutrients. To the benefits of its low content of saturated fatty acids and high content in monounsaturated fatty acids and in complex carbohydrates and fibre, we must add the wealth derived from its antioxidant substances."

Sounds amazing to me, but the only downside is no fast food and limited sweets but maybe that's a good thing. Adam's grandma is getting into her 90s and she's been on this 'diet' her whole life, she's really active and you would have no idea how old she was by looking at her. Evidently it's big in Morocco... maybe we should start it....

What diet do you wish you could stick to? Head on over to Kelsey's to link up with your answers!

Post-It Note Tuesday

It's time for Post it Note Tuesday! Head on over to Supah Mommy to link up!

First some venting I have to do:

Now on a much more positive note! :)

Top 2 Tuesday... Magazines

It's time for Top 2 Tuesday with Taylor

This week's Top 2 is Magazines

Yes, I love this gossip mag. I mean what else do you read laying out by the pool?!
Plus I'm a HUGE fan of the crossword haha.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this magazine!

Seriously it's pretty awesome :)
The only downside is that sometimes they are really thick, like the Decemeber issue, and sometimes they are really thin, like February's issue. So strange but all are filled with all kinds of neat stuff. My mom and I share a subscription so when she's done they come to me!

i hate you

Dear Pollen,
I'm sick of you invading my sinuses, causing my eyes to be blurring and ichy, and making me stuffy. I want you to leave. In the past you caused me to sneeze so much I chipped my tooth on the kitchen counter (I still remember that, I was 6 years old, how dare you!). You've been here for a week and you've exceded your welcome. You've caused me to sneeze non-stop through the Easter service (yes, I was that girl), which gave me no choice by to take medicine that knocked me out for hours. We had to delay Easter brunch to late lunch since I was out cold. Today you've infected everyone in my office. We all have ichy, watery eyes, chronic sneezing, and the sinus headaches, I'm sure we are all a joy to be around. As much as I love your distant relative Springtime, you are the unwelcomed 4th cousin once removed and it would be in your best interest to LEAVE immediately.

Sincerely,
one very allergic girl who want's to move to the beach

Check out your Allergy Forecast... evidently Florida is one of the worst places to be if you are allergic to pollen.
