So glad you could join me for Five Question Friday

I've been doing these for quite sometime but this is the first time on my new home :)

Questions for Friday, March 5th:

1. What's your guilty pleasure?
The Real Housewives series on Bravo, I know trashy reality tv full of drama and ladies who are full of themselves. I love the Orange County ladies but I watch all the different ones NY, New Jersey, and even Atlanta *blush*
2. What is your favorite TV series?
I've watched Desperate Housewives from the beginning, it's probably my fav besides True Blood and Big Love on HBO :)
3. Can you speak any foreign languages?
Since my lovely other half is from Morocco and speaks a few languages, he's teaching me Moroccan, it's a weird mix, mostly French with some Arabic. However, growing up in Florida I do know broken Spanish and I can read most Spanish thanks to that language requirement for college.
4. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
I own a lot, do I wear all of them... nope. I have more sandals and flipflops than most people have shoes. I live in Florida, it's like a requirement.
5. What's your favorite kind of M&M's...peanut, almond, straight up regular, etc.?
Almond. Def Almond.
Yummy and Healthy, well kinda...

Top 3 Thursdays: Spring is in the Air

Today's question is:
What are your Favorite things about spring?

#1 Daylight Saving Time! I really love when the sun is around when I get off work. It makes me happy because I am not a morning person and I can actually enjoy being outside gardening, or going for a quick run or even playing some soccer in the yard! :)

#2 Pedicures, Strapy Sandals, and Flip-flops! Not that I don't wear flipflops year round, because I do when it's over 70 out, I am in Florida afterall. But it's so much more comfortable to wear strapy sandals to work in the spring than these knee high leather boots I've got on today.

#3 Beach and Pool time! I can't wait to be able to read a magazine while laying out by the pool and getting a tan! Oh and don't forget the homemade margaritas. I can't wait for beach trips when you can actually get in the water, enjoy the surf and the sand! :)

Without a doubt I could spent hours in there store, you can try just about everything they carry before you buy (or just go and get your make-up done before a night out). Plus if there isn't one near you they have the best online ordering ever: weekly specials, free shipping for $50, free samples of your choice, and you can even send it back for a refund if it's not the right color! Pretty awesome if you ask me :)



2: TJ MAXX/Marshalls

I browse and browse, end up buying something for my house, some shoes, and/or clothes. But at least it's a really good deal! The bad thing is Marshalls is by my office and TJ Maxx is less than a mile from my house and is open until 10pm for those late night shopping sprees :)

Hey yall!

I'm very excited to start this new blog! If you're coming from Surviving the Kitchen, don't worry it will still be in existance, promise! I've been blogging for almost a year and Surviving the Kitchen has become more than just a food blog and I told myself when that happens I've got to divide them up. So that's were Bits & Pieces comes in, Surviving the Kitchen is going to be strictly recipes, cooking, baking, and Menu Planning and this blog more of a daily life blog.

I hope you enjoy the change and visit both blogs often! :)
