Writer's Workshop: Haiku Time

Mama's Losin' It
Today I am participating in Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop! I've been following Mama Kat for quite sometime and it has always looked like a fun thing to try and today we had an interesting selection of prompts, one being a haiku! It's been a while since I've written one but here goes nothing...

Write a Haiku that describes what you love about an ordinary day.

Sipping on Sweet Tea
Relaxing in my Backyard
Watching the Dogs Play

  1. Your blog layout is so pretty. I love it! Mine's so plain lol. I haven't written a Haiku in years! I like yours :D

  2. I had not written a Haiku since 5th grade either. : ) Yours reminds me of summer. I can't wait for the cold weather to be banished for a while. A large glass of sweet tea sounds divine. On a side note, Gracie Mae is adorable.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and reading my submission to Mama Kat's Writers Workshop. I can't wait to see what we'll have the option to write about next week! Hope to read your submission then.
